Bruce serves as the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) at Texolve Digital Inc. in Oakmont, PA, and is the Scoreboard Video Engineer for PNC Park and Acrisure Stadium. He delivers engineering services to the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and the University of Pittsburgh, as well as to various events and ancillary shows hosted within these premier venues.

With over a decade of expertise in video production and several years in broadcasting, he has served as a camera operator for prestigious teams like the Columbus Blue Jackets, Columbus Crew, and Cleveland Browns, in addition to various corporate events and concerts. During his quest for a high-quality broadcast intercom headset suitable for those lengthy hours in the heat, he came across Brian Duffy’s exceptional creation, “The Operator,” and Custom Headset Lab based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Duffy has retired from the headset business, but has passed on his knowledge and design to Bruce, for the best broadcast operator headset on the market.

Bruce is proud to carry on Duffy’s legacy by offering the same style and quality of headset created by Duffy and field tested by the camera operators in Pittsburgh, PA. This is why we have named our flagship headset “The Legacy,” in honor of Brian and the Operators that helped shape the headset to be what it is today.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to receive my headset?

Headsets are built to order, so please allow 2-3 week turn around time as not all parts can be kept in stock and require a few days to arrive before your headset can be built. Headsets will usually ship out the same week they are ordered.

Is there a way to get a discount?

Sometimes, while rarely, we will receive an already used headset that was returned within a short amount of time, and is in like-new condition. This is the only time we can provide a discount for our headsets. Please inquire using the Contact Form if there is any availability.

What is the warranty on headsets and adapters?

We provide a 30-day parts and labor warranty to cover manufacturing errors. An additional 1-year labor warranty is given in the event something should happen to your headset. Minimum repair cost is $100 unless otherwise stated.

How long will repairs take if I send my headset back?

It depends on the issue. Once the headset is received, it will be inspected in 2-3 business days. At that time, we will reach out with a quote for the repair and will wait for confirmation before proceeding.

How reliable is the headset?

Very reliable! The Legacy headset was designed and rigorously tested in the field by working Broadcast Camera operators. There are headsets of ours that have been out in the field for over 5-years that we haven’t had to repair.
